Registration for the Spring 2024 Research Community Forum (RCF) is NOW CLOSED! 

Objectives:

  • Explore the convergence and intersectionality of industry trends, flexibility, and regulatory compliance with a focus on vulnerable populations.

  • Discuss opportunities for collaborative and innovative approaches on policy, practice, and implementation throughout key areas of Human Research Protection Programs and with community partners.

  • Underscore cohesive and insightful best practices in support of future focused advancement and translational research while fostering avenues for connection and engagement within our local communities.

Who Should Attend:

  • Biomedical and/ Socio-behavioral human subject researchers

  • Study teams involved with a human research protections program (HRPP)

  • Institutional Review Board (IRB) chairs, vice-chairs, members and alternates

  • HRPP and IRB administrators

  • Institutional officials and/or HRPP leadership

Conference Fees:

  • Full Conference (2-day event): $199.00

Continuing Education Credits:

PRIM&R CIP:
All the day one workshop sessions meet the criteria in the Certified IRB Professional (CIP) recertification guidelines at https://primr.org/cip/eligible-programs. A total of 4.5 hours (or 275 mins) are eligible for continuing education units. A maximum of 4.5 continuing education credits can be claimed for day one.

All the day two conference sessions
EXCEPT breakout session C and Conversation with the Feds (marked as not eligible for CIP on the program) meet the criteria in the Certified IRB Professional (CIP) recertification guidelines at https://primr.org/cip/eligible-programs. A maximum of 5.75 hours (or 345 mins) are eligible for continuing education units. A maximum of 5.75 continuing education credits can be claimed for day two.

CCB:

The Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® has approved this event for up to 13.2 Live CCB CEUs, based on a 50-minute hour, each. Continuing Education Units are awarded based on individual attendance records. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by CCB of this event content or of the event sponsor.

SOCRA:

The Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA - www.SOCRA.org) accepts documentation of candidate participation in continuing education programs for recertification if the program is applicable to clinical research regulations, operations or management, or to the candidate’s clinical research therapeutic area. This program offers 13.2 hours of CE credit.
